The Opportunity
As Director of Ad Operations, you will be responsible for establishing and managing our new Media organization’s entire ad operations function, on a global basis. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of digital campaigns across our platform, while also contributing to the development of best practices and scalable processes. This role requires a hands-on individual with a strong understanding of digital media, ad tech, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for building something from the ground up.
** This is a hybrid role which requires at least 3 days a week onsite in our (brand new!) Framingham, MA office**

The Skills you will bring
- Campaign Management: Oversee the full campaign lifecycle, from trafficking and implementation to monitoring, reporting, and analysis. This includes setting up campaigns in our ad server, managing creative assets, and ensuring accurate targeting and delivery.
- Ad Technology Management: Become the expert on our ad and martech technology stacks, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues related to ad serving, tracking, and reporting. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to escalate and resolve complex problems.
- Reporting & Analysis: Generate and analyze campaign performance reports, identifying trends and insights to optimize campaign effectiveness. Develop standardized reporting dashboards and processes.
- Inventory Management: Work with the sales team to forecast and manage ad inventory, ensuring optimal utilization and maximizing revenue potential.
- Process Development: Establish and document best practices for ad operations, creating scalable processes for campaign management, reporting, and troubleshooting.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure seamless execution of advertising campaigns.
Achievements
- 8 years of experience in digital media or advertising operations, preferably within a sell side environment (retailer, publisher, ad tech, ad network, etc…).
- You have demonstrated the ability to shape a service offering and deliver customer success.
- Deep understanding of ad tech and media platforms.
- Experience with ad trafficking, campaign management, reporting, and analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
- You have developed teams and cross functional support structures.
