The position will ensure fuel supply availability for all FBOs, terminals, and customers served. An individual adept with supply chain or logistics operations will manage the transport, distribution, and sourcing of refined products. Coupled with the ability to make data-driven decisions through leveraging statistical analysis and effectively promoting process optimization.
The position requires detail-oriented organizational skills, striving for continued learning, flexibility to adapt to an ever-changing environment, and ownership of job functions. In addition, the employee will need to showcase strong interpersonal skills to manage critical business relationships by effectively communicating, collaborating, and coordinating with a vast network of customers and suppliers. The nature of the business will require the employee to navigate through unforeseen supply chain issues, including terminal and pipeline delays, quality issues, weather events, and unplanned refinery disruptions.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Operations, or Business Analytics
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a high-level knowledge of Microsoft Suite, including Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Power Pivots, etc.) and PowerPoint. Previous experience with enterprise systems would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Management
- Maintain an understanding of internal customers' supply requirements for the new and existing supply and strive for constant improvement in supply cost and availability.
- Aggressively pursue improvement on all supply chain component costs.
- Strengthen relationships with supply counterparties with accurate, trusting, and timely communications on market intel, contract volume management for existing and new fuel tenders, and best effort for forecasting demand accuracy.
- Consistently achieve target inventory levels while meeting company requirements at the most reliable and lowest possible cost.
- Review new proposed contracts and contract renewals to ensure they align with EPIC's business needs and goals related to supply and inventory.
- Direct and coordinate with other contract reviewers within EPIC to ensure contract reviews are completed within schedule.
Inventory Optimization
- Work with inventory accounting staff to manage all inventory locations for optimal inventory levels.
- Track demand trends for inventory locations.
- Develop cost-benefit analysis/strategy for new and existing inventory for opening and closing as needed.
Logistics Management
- Participate in the management of rail, barge, terminal, and pipeline requirements.
- Participate in the supervision of trucking/common carrier logistics.
- Responsible for terminal, rail, barge, trans-loading, and pipeline relationships to meet fuel needs and delivery schedules/cycles.
