About the Position:
W!se is seeking an exceptional individual to support W!se’s prestigious and award winning, financial education program now celebrating its 22nd anniversary. The successful candidate will maintain relationships with high schools, provide customer service to the schools and manage the program’s operational and technology infrastructure. The position requires a quick learner who is laser focused on program quality, excels in customer service, sustaining relationships, and being involved in a large national high school initiative. Responsibilities:
The Program Associate reports to the Senior Program Director and is responsible for:
- Managing the program’s operational and technology infrastructure,
- Updating the program’s instructional resources and materials,
- Coordinating the delivery of assessments to schools,
- Delivering excellent customer service to new and existing schools,
- Maintaining relationships with existing schools in the program,
- Arranging for volunteers to visit schools in NYC,
- Organizing the program’s annual calendar.
In addition, the Associate will support the Director in:
- Driving the growth of a widely recognized national program,
- Assisting with the recruitment of new schools,
- Attending conferences (some travel is expected),
- Organizing an annual video contest,
- Creating videos to promote the program.
REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, secondary education, finance, business, political science, economics or other related field,
- 1-2 years’ experience,
- An ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects with deadlines,
- Experience with customer service skills,
- Passion for financial literacy,
- Strong time management skills and extraordinary attention to detail,
- Evidence of excellent writing/communication skills, (experience with public speaking a plus)
· High level of technology proficiency
