Production Process Manager
Job Description : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced production manager to oversee all assembly processes at our company. The Production Process Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our assembly lines, coordinating with other departments, and maintaining high standards of quality and productivity. This position will report to the Manufacturing Manager who oversees all plant production.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide oversight and leadership for all assembly processes, ensuring production output meets quality and efficiency standards.
- Coordinate with other Production Process Managers, including Welding and Parts Making, in separate areas of manufacturing processes to optimize overall production efficiency.
- Develop and maintain daily production schedules, forecasts, and inventory plans.
- Manage a team of Supervisors who oversee individual assembly lines, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Manage a team of complementary manufacturing personnel including engineers and supply chain planning to ensure productivity goals are met.
- Coordinate with quality control to maintain measures which ensure product integrity and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to coordinate material procurement and inventory management.
- Utilize ERP systems and software tools for data management, reporting, and decision-making while suggesting improvements when necessary.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles and methodologies, with a focus on cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production rates, on-time delivery, efficiency, and cost control.
- Report weekly performance to company executive management.
