Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Warehouse Clerk to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by efficiently handling inventory management and order fulfillment processes. This position is essential for maintaining the flow of goods within our distribution center, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment, ensuring all items are correctly selected and packed according to specifications.
- Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock movements effectively.
- Assist in loading and unloading products from delivery trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts as necessary.
- Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in reconciling discrepancies as needed.
- Operate reach trucks for moving products within the warehouse, ensuring safe handling practices are followed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
- Proficiency in picking and packing processes within a warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) software is preferred.
- Experience working in a distribution center or similar environment is advantageous.
- Ability to operate pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts safely; certification may be required.
- Strong basic math skills for accurate inventory tracking and order processing.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all tasks.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to bend, stand, reach and lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
