What are the responsibilities and job description for the Audio Editor position at working with our ministry?
The Audio Editor plays a key role in our mission by editing, mixing, and delivering high-quality and accurate Scripture recordings. This position requires expertise in Audio Editing, Cleanup and Mixing, and may also incorporate leadership responsibilities. Upper level Audio Editors may oversee complex projects, lead specific initiatives, mentor junior editors, and contribute to process improvements and best practices.
Responsibilities include:
- Performs all functions of the Audio Editor 3, demonstrating proficiency in the audio editing disciplines and consistently meeting or exceeding quality and pace expectations.
- Audio Editing & Cleanup
- Perform editing, cleanup, and/or assembly of extreme-difficulty projects
- Communicate with internal departments and external partners to address specific project requirements
- Assist with the development and maintenance of project and workflow management systems
- Serve as a ‘lead’ in a specific domain, such as de-mixing, voice changes, corrections, etc.
- Mixing & Mastering
