Faith Comes By Hearing (FCBH) is dedicated to providing access to God's Word through audio Bible recordings for the benefit of people around the world. We are seeking a talented and experienced Video Producer to join our team and support our mission by developing and producing a wide range of high-quality video and audio content for promotional, instructional, informational, fundraising, training, and communication purposes.
The Video Producer will be responsible for creating compelling media content that effectively communicates the ministry's mission and vision. This role involves travel to third-world locations for in-field production, coordination with ministry partners, technical collaboration with A/V vendors for live events, and both field and studio production tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video and audio production, demonstrated project management skills, and the ability to work effectively in cross-cultural environments.
This position is located in and reports to our Albuquerque office, this is not a remote position.
Responsibilities include:
§ Completes or directs post production for each project, including editing (documentary, narrative and corporate), determining soundtrack, sound mixing, audio adjustments, color corrections, graphic design, and animation as required.
§ Works with various ministry departments to analyze project needs and develop creative concepting, ensuring that they fit with resourcing, project objectives, and ministry messaging.
§ Develops direction for each project, which may include developing shot lists, storyboards, and scripts; selecting video locations; researching existing images and footage; selecting and coordinating actors; collaborating with other employees.
§ Travels to 3rd world locations for in-field filming and recording. Must represent FCBH appropriately and work closely with local partners to achieve goals while maintaining ministry relationships.
§ Films and records or directs filming/recording; directs on-camera talent and narrators; determines lighting and sound.
§ Coordinates complete video production with outsourced editors, when projects require.
§ Regularly improves knowledge and skill set in video/audio trends, media, techniques, and equipment through ongoing on-line training and professional publications.
§ Handles staff requests for audio/video content as needed.
§ Performs unique audio/video-related projects as requested.
§ Researches and recommends new equipment purchases and negotiates contracts for independent contractors used in the filming/editing process.
§ Help plan and coordinate visual and audio elements for live and virtual events, to include conceptualization, production of elements and coordination with A/V vendors during live events.
