Principle Responsibilities
Must be able to work outside under cover, have basic knowledge of hand tools, pneumatic tools, operate a forklift, hydrostatic testing of pipes,
tubes and pressure vessels, knowledge of pressure fittings, must be able to follow written work instructions, work with chemical’s meaning
degreasing parts and passivating them, must be able to work with items under pressure with GN2, compressed air, water, or chemicals, must have
mechanical ability, must have a high level of caring, work well with others and be dependable.
Standard Duties
Move parts/components through various cleaning stations. Lift baskets of parts from ground into cleaning tanks. Scrub parts with brushes. Work
with chemical solvents. Perform visual inspection of parts to verify cleanliness. Add chemical/solvents/acids to cleaning vats. Move chemicals
from storage to pre-clean area. Keep similar parts for various customers separated for work order and quality tracking purposes. Operate field
cleaning equipment. Collect samples of cleaned parts in accordance with written instructions.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Capabilities
Ability to read written procedures and work orders. Ability to hear and understand verbal instructions.
Physical Requirements
Bending, stooping, climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs. Repetitive scrubbing motions. Standing for long periods of time. Wearing personal protective
equipment, i.e., rubber gloves, face shield, protective apron, etc. Working with and around chemicals.
Equipment to be Used
Hand tools, cleaning tanks, hand truck, pallet jack, personal protective equipment, high pressure cleaning rig, sample collection hardware.
