Job Summary
We are seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical systems within our facility.
Responsibilities
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Read and interpret schematics to perform maintenance tasks
- Assist in fabricating parts as needed
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks
- Support in supervising contractors during maintenance projects
- Utilize CMMS for work order management
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and equipment
- Perform electrical work including using an ohmmeter and welding when necessary
Qualifications
- Proficiency in mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics
- Experience with supervising maintenance tasks
- Familiarity with CMMS software is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
