Merchandiser

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team. As a Merchandiser, you will play a key role in promoting and enhancing the visual appeal of our products and displays.

Duties

• Manage inventory control to ensure products are adequately stocked
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members
• Implement merchandising strategies to optimize product placement and pricing
• Utilize inventory management systems to track product movement
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with inquiries and purchases
• Utilize interior design principles to create visually appealing product displays
• Handle cash transactions and operate Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Supervise merchandising activities to maintain store aesthetics

Experience

• Prior experience in merchandising or retail environment is preferred
• Proficiency in inventory control and management
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues
• Multilingual abilities are a plus
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures
• Knowledge of interior design concepts for effective product presentation

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
