What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian / Maintenance position at Worklink Staffing?
- Location: Loretto, PA
- Payrate: $12-$14 per hour - Depending on experience
- Schedule: Monday to Sunday (Weekends required) 2 days off during the week.

What will you be doing?
This position is responsible for the general upkeep of district buildings and grounds. Responsibilities include but are not limited to routine cleaning of assigned areas, floor care, major summer cleaning and special projects, grounds keeping, boiler operation and basic maintenance, basic tool and equipment maintenance, minor utility maintenance, and event set up. This position is also responsible for always maintaining a safe and secure building environment.
- Performs routine and seasonal cleaning of assigned areas, removes trash, maintains all types of floor finishes, utilizes various tools and equipment, and uses approved chemicals, cleaning, and floor finish products according to manufacturer’s instructions.
- Operates and performs routine and seasonal maintenance of boilers and related auxiliary equipment, orders coal, and assists with ash handling.
- Maintains building lighting, performs minor plumbing tasks, maintains assigned equipment, and assists with painting that can be done from a step ladder not exceeding eight feet.
- Performs general grounds keeping tasks including snow and ice removal, daily policing of building exterior and entryways, maintenance of trees, shrubs, lawns and playgrounds, and lining of athletic fields.
- Perform other duties assigned.
