Position Overview

As a Senior Network Engineer at NetXperts , you will serve as a trusted consultant, working directly with clients to design, implement, and support advanced network solutions. Your primary focus will be wireless networking, with additional expertise in voice technologies being highly desirable. This role emphasizes a consultative approach rather than internal IT operations, making experience in a reseller or consulting environment a major plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, implement, and manage complex network and wireless solutions.
• Serve as a technical advisor and consultant for clients, guiding them through solution design, deployment, and support.
• Conduct network assessments, troubleshoot issues, and recommend optimization strategies.
• Perform assessments, testing and validation of Wi-Fi services to ensure functionality and performance meet requirements.
• Lead and participate in technical presentations and customer training sessions.
• Stay updated on emerging networking technologies and industry best practices.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Network Engineer or similar role, preferably in a consulting or reseller environment.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco networking products and solutions, including routing, switching, SD-WAN, DNAC and security technologies.
• Strong expertise in wireless networking technologies (Wi-Fi design, implementation, and troubleshooting).
• Proficiency in network protocols, hardware refresh projects and network segmentation.
• CCNP Enterprise or CCIE.
• Strong customer-facing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• CWNA/CWNP (Certified Wireless Network Administrator/Professional)
• Experience with voice technologies such as VoIP, UCaaS, or on-premise PBX systems (preferred).
• Cisco Collaboration or equivalent voice certifications

The Pay Range For This Role Is

145,000 - 170,000 USD per year(orange county)
