Crowley area business is currently seeking a worker to assist with Animal Control and the Animal Shelter. The worker will be responsible for caring for and feeding shelter animals, answering phones, communicating with the public, maintenance and upkeep of the shelter, driving the company vehicle to pickup traps and to handle calls about nuisance animals. The person hired would be on-call every 3rd week and after a driving and background check, would have a company vehicle and gas card for use daily. Person hired will also need to complete NACO certification. (1wk all expense training) as part of the position.
Ideal candidate will be comfortable communicating with the public, work well with animals, willing to handle the physical duties of the position, as well as lift 50lbs as needed.
10.00 / hr to start. Pay will increase following completion of certification / training course.
Mon - Fri - 8am - 4 : 30pm. On call every 3rd week.
