Worknet is seeking workers for this Mardi Gras season to assist with placement and removal of barricades, as well as parade route cleanup in Lafayette. Hours include day and night hours. $14 / hr. Workers need to have steel toes, work gloves, a reflective vest, and safety glasses. Workers will meet in a central location and go to the work site for each shift. See the schedule below.

Work starts February 20th.

Barricade Loading / Unloading / Placement

  • Thurs, Feb 20th - 7am - until done (11am)
  • Fri, Feb 21st - 7am - until done (12pm - 3pm)

Parade Route Cleanup

  • Sat, Feb 22nd - 7pm - until done (12am - 2am)
  • Sat, Mar 1st - 7pm - until done (12am - 2am)
  • Tues, Mar 4th - 11pm - until done (3am - 5am)
  • Wed, Mar 5th - 11pm - until done (3am - 5am)

    • Barricade Loading / Unloading / Placement

  • Thurs Mar 6th - 7am - 3 : 30pm
  • Fri, Mar 7th - 7am - until done (1pm - 3 : 30pm)

    • Other requirements :

  • Pre-employment screening
  • Reliable transportation to and from the job site
  • Lift at least 50lbs.
  • PPE required for the assignment
  • Availability for the hours listed.
