North Lafayette area company is currently seeking a worker for their transportation and dock maintenance area. This worker will assist with unloading items leftover in vehicles returning from deliveries, clean the interior of the trailer / remove debris as needed, check / sort / separate / stack pallets to determine if good or bad for continued use, checking / cleaning / sorting other reusable shipping containers, cleaning containers with a sprayer, keeping items in the dock area clear and organized, and disposing of things as needed. This position is outdoors. Forklift experience is required to use the forklift to move heavy objects and dispose of things.
13 / hr ( DOE)
Days, 1st shift - Mon - Fri work week - 8am - 3 : 30pm (32-35hrs per week)
Temp to perm with full benefits, perks, and bonuses after permanent hire
Other requirements :
- Pre-employment screening
- Must have forklift experience
- Previous, verifiable work history
- Reliable transportation to and from job site
- Flexibility in availability as shifts may start earlier or go longer as needed. This company is open and does work on holidays.
