We are looking for a Senior SOC Analyst who is familiar with a range of SIEM technologies and is comfortable with both graphical interfaces and scripting languages. You should have experience in effective analysis and triage of security information and events. A strong capability to mentor and guide less experienced Security Analysts is essential. You will also need to have experience in developing and configuring use cases and alerting rules within SIEM technologies.
As a Senior SOC Analyst at Royal Mail Group, you will take on the primary role of monitoring security across key technologies within our estate. You will be responsible for updating, developing, implementing, and operating processes and procedures essential to our security operations. Additionally, you will develop and present key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs) to the SOC Team Lead and Head of Security Operations. You will perform as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for relevant projects and initiatives. Collaboration with RMG technology teams and third-party suppliers will be crucial to ensure correct responses and remediation of any security information and events.
