Responsibilities
- Initiate and uncover new sales opportunities through networking and cold calling clients design / architectural firms and commercial brokers.
- Develop a network with like peers outside and within the industry with the intent of identifying and sharing lead information
- Collaborate with in-house and partner designers and architects to achieve client goals
- Maintain knowledge of our featured products and services as well as the contract furniture industry including design concepts, trends and applications
- Participate in personal and professional development through continuing education and appropriate business and professional organizations
- Develop, maintain, and nurture a professional network within the community.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree
- Understanding of profitability
- Proficient in MS Office Software including Outlook
- Must be comfortable cold calling with the expectation of uncovering new opportunities
- Ability to think outside of the box in building ones territory
- Skilled in approaching situations with problem solving as the goal
- Know how to think creatively and strategically
