WorkReady is looking for JOB COACHES in the Beaumont area to assist high school students with mild to moderate disabilities on the job who are participating in a Work Experience at local employers. The Work Experience program places students at a business, organization, or agency within the community to learn skills for competitive, integrated employment.
As a Job Coach, you will teach job related skills; reinforces skills; and develop or set up accommodations and/or compensatory techniques to increase the customer's independence and ability to meet the employer's expectations.
Job Coaches must:
1. Complete a background check,
2. Complete the online Job Skills Training certification through UNTWISE,
3. Be willing to transport students in their vehicle to and from the worksite.
Must be professional, dependable, hard-working, caring, and experienced in teaching or helping individuals.
Backgrounds in vocational rehabilitation, special education, teaching, coaching, non-profits, mental health, and other human services are helpful.
Dates & Schedule:
Start date: 2/17/25
Monday-Friday
Time: roughly 4:00-8:00 pm
