Job type: Contract (03/10/2025 to 03/09/2026) j
Schedule: Monday - Friday (40 hours per week IN THE OFFICE)
Engineer Technician: This role is pivotal in helping advance the company QMRV program as we look to quantify and reduce our emissions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Become familiarized with the PI system to organize existing tags into the QMRV configuration and/or create new tags to capture additional operational data needed for emissions reporting
- Collaborate with teams across IT, Operations, Tech Services, and EHS to enhance visibility into emissions associated with equipment
- Supports subject matter experts to aid in decision making
Qualifications
- Understanding of the Oil & gas midstream industry
- Understanding of the use SQL structured query language and Relational Databases to assemble data
- Basic data analysis/Excel skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate at various levels across organizational boundaries and influence others without hierarchical authority
- Exposure or knowledge of equipment Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) is a plus
- Knowledge of Time series data, Operational Information, Greenhouse Gas Admission.
- Mechanical Engineering certification is preferred.
- Must be computer savvy and not afraid to communicate through confusion.
- Must be able to collaborate well with others.
- The ability to understand instrumentation and controls systems, reporting, and operating parameters are nice areas to have but not required.
- The main focus of this position is to leverage operational data.
