Role : Compressor Mechanic

Position Description :
- Estimates workload to establish completion dates.
- Assists mechanical engineers in the planning and testing of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery, such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etc.
- Maintaining Caterpillar 3516 ULB, Caterpillar 3606 A3, 3616 A4, Ariel reciprocating compressor JGT-4, JGC-4, KBZ-6 frame maintenance. Diaphragm, centrifugal charge pumps, triplex, and horizontal pump maintenance.
- Maintaining Sullair, Atlas Copco rotary screw air compressors. Vapor recovery unit maintenance, natural gas rotary screw compressors.
- Operation of overhead cranes, operation of crane trucks. Able to
- operate Forklift and Man lift.
- Helps prepare proposals and cost estimates.
- Actively participate in the use of all on the job safety tools
- Identify any safety issues associated with job end ensure removal / mitigation prior to working
- Execute work as planned
- Record technical history as required by workgroup. (Global Reliability Tool (GRT), data sheet, etc.)
- Request permits and notify Supervisor if permit cannot be issued within 30 minutes of Requested time
