Directional Drillers Needed in Midland, TX
- Schedule: 14 X 14 (14 Days On X 14 Days Off)
- 1099 Contract Position
- Remote directional drilling supervision.
- Identify and incorporate best practices to ensure continuous improvement.
- Drilling parameter management.
- Identify and mitigate drilling dysfunction.
- Anti-Collision monitoring and avoidance.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate efforts with Engineering, Field Personnel and Geology.
- Efficiently manage multiple rigs concurrently in different operational phases.
- BHA and well planning optimization.
- Utilization of automated directional drilling technology.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Remote operations center experience.
- Minimum 5 years Directional Drilling/MWD experience.
- Conventional, RSS and Automated directional drilling experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with automated directional drilling technology.
- Experience with drilling intelligence software.
- Efficient in data extraction and analytics.
- Experience with Compass
