About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Materials Coordinator to join our team at Workrise. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, receiving and storing materials, and ensuring that all incoming product is receipted and managed appropriately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and control perpetual inventory stock counting/inventory accuracy checks
- Receive, unpack, count, inspect, identify and store materials, tools and equipment
- Ensure incoming product is receipted and managed appropriately according to company procedure
- Receives and inspects all incoming materials and reconciles with purchase orders; processes and distributes documentation with purchase orders; reports, documents and tracks damages and discrepancies on orders received
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, pipe yards or other areas
- Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors
- Mark materials, tools and equipment using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools or other labeling equipment
- Issue or distribute materials, products, parts based on information from incoming requisitions
- Maintain records on the use or damage of stock or stock-handling equipment
- Maintain records to maintain inventory control, cost containment and to assure proper stock levels
- Review information data from contracts, purchase orders, requisitions and other documents to assess supply needs
- Confer with purchasing personnel and vendors regarding stock procurement and availability
- Maintain housekeeping duties within store rooms, warehouses and shipping/receiving areas
Requirements
- Experience with Oracle or other ERP software preferred
- Strong computer skills and customer service experience
- Oilfield experience a plus
- Forklift and telehandler training/experience
