Position Description:
- Must view safety as a value.
- Lead pre-task briefings to ensure all hazards and mitigations are clearly identified prior to starting any tasks.
- Responsible for engaging in and promoting a strong safety culture.
- Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs on pipelines and related equipment.
- Perform Lock-Out/Tag-Out process on pressure vessels, and pipelines.
- Operate and maintain various tools and equipment including pigging devices, pumps, compressors and valves.
- Perform visual inspections, corrosion assessments and integrity assessments.
- Inspect and repair pipeline valves and pressure relief valves
- Monitor leak detection systems and equipment. Respond to emergencies such as leaks, spills or equipment failures
- Use Ignition and SCADA systems to monitor operations
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections and repairs. Prepare reports for compliance and regulatory purposes.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, environmental regulations and industry standards
- Minimize the environmental impact of pipeline operations and promptly report any environmental incidents.
- Conduct site assessments and surveys to gather data on pipeline locations.
- Collaborate with team members, engineers and supervisors to coordinate maintenance activities.
- Stay current with industry developments, regulations and best practices.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Understanding of natural gas industry standards, market trends, emerging issues, and regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge that may include cathodic protection systems, pigging operations and pipeline instrumentation.
- Working knowledge of P&IDs for pipelines and pig farms.
- Understands how to use digital tools to make informed decisions.
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office and job-related applications
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

- Minimum of 3 years of oilfield experience, preferably with pipeline experience.
- Valid drivers license
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $48.00 - $60.00 per hour
