What Will You Be Doing:
- Perform all functions of a Woodshop Machine Operator I & II
- Expert knowledge and experience of techniques, skills, machine tools, ad processes involved in woodworking, fabrication, and finishing
- Fabrication on a wide variety of products and projects
- CNC Troubleshooting
- Basic mechanical CNC knowledge
- Work independently and with a team
- Maintain high quality standards
- Ability to adapt to changes in workflow
- Manage project timelines across multiple projects under strict deadlines
- Finish product, by hand, using a variety of hand tools, including, but not limited to: files various knives, hand routers, sand paper, steel wool and trimming devices
- Familiar with sustainable manufacturing techniques
- Use of all provided PPE (Personal protective equipment) as required for example, hearing protection, safety glasses and safety toe shoes
- Maintain a safe and clean work area
- Adhere to all safety regulations
- Other duties as assigned
What Will You Bring:
- 5 years of experience with CNC machines and/or woodworking, 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- High School diploma or GED
- Basic reading, math, and computer data entry and systems experience
- Ability to efficiently work in a high paced environment
