About the Role
As a Residential Construction Sales Representative, you will be the first point of contact for prospective clients, guiding them through their remodeling journey from initial inquiry to post-construction. Your construction expertise will be vital in accurately estimating job costs, communicating these estimates to clients, and closing the sale. This role is a hybrid of sales and client management, with a mix of office work and in-person meetings. Key Responsibilities
- Estimate Projects: Use your construction knowledge and company data to accurately estimate job costs and clearly communicate these to clients.
- Qualify Leads: Deeply qualify Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) through thoughtful, inquisitive conversations and follow-up.
- Sales Process: Lead clients through the sales process, explaining the WORKS by JD design-build process, and close the sale with a signed planning agreement.
- Networking & Lead Generation: Actively network within the community to generate additional leads and expand your client base.
- Client Interaction: Maintain regular contact with clients during the sales process and after project completion as the account manager.
- CRM Usage: Learn and utilize CRM systems to track activities, manage leads, and report progress.
Qualifications
- Construction Knowledge: Strong understanding of building codes and residential construction processes.
- Sales Skills: Proven ability to close sales and build lasting client relationships.
- Certifications: OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and RRP certifications (preferred but not required).
- Customer Service Excellence: Outstanding communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Physical Agility: Ability to work in both office and field settings; travel to job sites within a 45-minute to 1-hour radius of Beverly.
- Dependability: Punctual, reliable, and prepared for meetings and client interactions.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction sales or similar role is a plus.
