Workshop/APD is excited to launch its Summer 2025 Internship Program for architecture students at the NY office. This full-time, paid internship runs from May 20, 2025 – August 15, 2025, requiring a 40-hour, in-person commitment per week, Monday through Friday.
As an intern at Workshop/APD, you will gain exposure to high-end residential, commercial, and hospitality projects while working alongside our talented team of designers. Internship Opportunities
- Assist in generating and developing design concepts under the guidance of design leads.
- Learn and work collaboratively with senior designers and project teams.
- Develop and enhance Revit skills through hands-on project contributions.
- Gain firsthand experience in site visits and learn how to communicate effectively with general contractors and other external partners.
- Prepare presentation materials to support design requirements.
- Participate and engage in office events and programs.
- Support various ad hoc tasks, including organizing the materials library.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a rising senior undergraduate or a graduate student in an accredited architecture program.
- Strong interest and passion for high-end residential and/or hospitality design.
- Must submit a resume and portfolio, including anticipated graduation date and GPA.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the internship.
- Ability to commute to the NY office in Midtown.
- Basic knowledge of Revit is required; previous experience is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop), 3D rendering skills (Rhino, Enscape, SketchUp), and AutoCAD
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation is based on experience, education level, and year in school, in compliance with NYC wage laws.
