Responsibilities
- Establish a premier personal training department by driving sales of training packages.
- Oversee the recruitment and selection of personal trainers, ensuring they have the necessary qualifications and fit the health club’s culture.
- Hold regular meetings with personal trainers and staff to discuss goals, challenges, and updates.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of personal trainers, providing feedback, conducting performance reviews, and managing disciplinary actions if necessary.
- Monitor and analyze revenue generated from personal training sessions and ensure financial targets are met.
- Work with the marketing team to design and implement campaigns to increase the visibility of personal training services.
- Maintain accurate records of client sessions, trainer schedules, and financial transactions.
- Prepare regular reports on department performance, including client satisfaction, trainer productivity, and financial outcomes.
Qualifications
-Customer service: 2 years (Required)
- Previous experience in personal training or fitness instruction is required
- Certification from a recognized fitness organization such as NASM or ACE is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and exercise science
