The Role: Head of Data
As Head of Data, you'll be responsible for developing and executing the data strategy to drive business growth. You'll lead a multidisciplinary team spanning data engineering, analytics, and machine learning while partnering with business units to deliver data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and scale enterprise data infrastructure
- Architect and implement advanced data solutions
- Establish data governance frameworks and best practices
- Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives
- Oversee development of robust and scalable data platforms
- Design and optimize data pipelines and workflows
- Drive analytics capabilities and reporting frameworks
- Manage data warehouse strategy and implementation
- Implement innovative data architecture patterns
- Create systems for intuitive data access across the organization
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10-20 years experience in data engineering with enterprise-grade systems
- 10 years experience in custom ETL design and dimensional modeling
- 5 years experience bringing a data infrastructure and architecture
- You will have experience of working in a cryptocurrency company
- Experience with real-time analytics and digital measurement
- Proficiency with SQL, Python, cloud environments, and data technologies
- Background implementing and operationalizing ML models
- Experience with modern data platforms (Redshift, Snowflake, etc.) and orchestration tools
- Strong leadership capabilities and stakeholder management skills
