Human Resources Assistant (Part-time hours, temporary)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and resourceful HR Assistant to join our team for the next 3-4 months. The ideal candidate has the ability to ensure smooth and effective HR operations and has a passion for continually improving both process and experience.

Core Responsibilities :

  • Process onboarding, role change, and termination workflows.
  • Assist with audits and ensure compliance with HR standards.
  • Assist with performance management processes.
  • Assist with benefits open enrollment.

Additional Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with the Human Resources team to support and improve team member experiences.
  • Communicate with external vendors to resolve issues.
  • Advise on HR policies and programs.
  • Potential to assist with special projects working closely with the HR Director.
  • Potential to assist with recruiting process.
  • Requirements :

  • 1-2 years administrative work experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong documentation and accurate record-keeping skills.
  • Extra points :

  • Actively enrolled or have completed higher education or certification related to human resource management, business, or other related fields.
  • Experience with any of the following :
  • Microsoft Teams / Office 365 suite
  • Paylocity
  • Employee Navigator
  • Lattice
  • ConnectWise PSA
  • This is a hybrid position. Employees will work both on-site and remotely.

    Temporary role : March through June

    Flexible, part-time hours (estimated 20 hours / week)
