What are the responsibilities and job description for the Epoxy Line Operator 1st Shift position at WorkSmart Staffing?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Use hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications
Inspect product using calipers, height gage, square, and tape measure
Assemble fabricated parts at a floor station
Identify units that fail test or tolerance levels and repair as necessary
Perform other tasks as assigned
Requirements :
Must be able to understand basic shop math including knowledge of fraction to decimal conversions
Must have the ability to make corrections and solve problems
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
Must possess verbal communication skills and work well with other employees in a team environment
Must be knowledgeable of supply management, controls and instruments, tooling, and inventory control
Nice To Have, But Not Required :
Previous experience in field or related field
Things To Consider : Long work hours
Ability to work overtime when necessary
Uncontrolled environmental conditions : noise, dust, dirt, high temperatures, and walking surfaces strewn with materials
Physical requirements include standing, bending, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, and walking 8-to 10-hours per day
Steady use of hands and arms for long periods of time
Must be able to :
Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
Regularly lift up to 30 lbs
Regularly push / pull 10 lbs
