Job Summary :
Operates heat weld machine to safely produce hose products
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Responsible for safe operation of equipment per training checklist
- Follows work instructions to produce quality hose products as scheduled
- Reads and understands product specification sheets
- Required to know standard fabrics by part number and use resources to find product information
- Performs machine set ups and makes adjustments as necessary
- Loads wire onto machine with a forklift
- Responsible for learning the cuffing process and producing quality cuffs to specification.
- Completes required paperwork accurately and timely
- Reports machine wear and malfunctions
- Assists process technicians with complicated or unusual set-ups
- May perform some end trimming or packing
