Job Summary :
Performs a wide variety of duties to properly set up and run single or dual extrusion equipment with demonstrative ability to properly inspect, document and package finished RFH, CVD and UFD products.
Essential Functions :
Operator is capable of setting up the machine, to make diameter and die changeovers and use the tooling and raw materials specified on print and have competencies to produce first quality finished products. Responsible for packing finished products as specified on the print, make carton labels and correctly apply labels on each carton and / or pallet.
Completes First Order Inspection Forms on each order manufactured and is capable of training other associates on machine operation. Capable of troubleshooting related processes.
Makes necessary machine adjustments to assure finished products meet print specifications. Produces all RM products in 5 / 8” – 24” diameter and products from 2” to 24” diameters. Produces sample product requests per instructions or marked up prints.
Performs preventive maintenance as required and within scope of competency. Relieves on other machines as requested. Maintains an organized inventory of different diameter dies in useable working condition.
Secondary Duties :
Reports defects of products or equipment .
Reports any unusual conditions or situations.
Qualifications :
Education : High school diploma or GED required. Ability to understand and communicate complex instructions.
Experience :
- Over 1 year with prior machine operator training preferred
Skills : - Mechanical Aptitude
