WorkSolved Staffing is seeking a reliable and dedicated Machinist Helper to join our team. The Machinist Helper will support machinists in the setup, operation, and maintenance of various machines and tools used in the production process. This role involves handling tools, materials, and assisting with machine maintenance to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist machinists in setting up machines for production.
• Prepare and organize materials, tools, and supplies required for machining operations.
• Clean and maintain machines and work areas to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Transport materials and finished products between workstations.
• Measure and inspect parts using basic measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) under machinist guidance.
• Load and unload raw materials and parts into machines.
• Assist with machine calibration and maintenance tasks.
• Support with the preparation of parts by deburring, sanding, or polishing.
• Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Help troubleshoot machine issues and report problems to senior machinists.
• Maintain accurate records of materials used and work completed.
• Communicate effectively with the team to ensure workflow and deadlines are met.
