WorkSolved Staffing is hiring for Shipping Clerk on 1st Shift in the Walker area. These are full-time 1st shift positions working for a local warehouse. Opportunities for advancement right from the start, company promotes from within.

Shipping Clerk Requirements :

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organization and administrative skills
  • Integrity and leadership skills
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Detail-oriented and multitasking skills
  • Knowledge of basic math skills
  • Experience in a shipping clerk position
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs

Shipping Clerk Responsibilities :

  • Preparing outgoing shipment paperwork including packing list and bill of lading
  • Coordinate freight carriers for shipment of orders
  • Obtain and process product orders, including receiving deliveries, registering them and distributing packages and letters within the company
  • Schedule large shipments and plan logistics
  • Keep files of goods shipped by preparing regular shipping reports
  • Handle issues arising in shipping
  • Trouble shoot shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them
  • Load merchandise by lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts / pallet jacks for large goods

    • Details :

  • Payrate : 1st Shift $17.00 per hour
  • 1st Shift 7 : 30am to 4 : 00PM
  • 30-minute lunch and 2 10-minute breaks
  • Moderate paced work

    • Perks :
