What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Technician position at WorkSource Oregon?
REQUIREMENTS :
- Must have or be willing to obtain Registered Behavior Analysis Interventionist (RBAI), the state license needed to work with clients
- High school diploma / GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Strong verbal and written communication, time management and organizational skills, and problem-solving
- Prior lived, professional, educational, or volunteer experience with children or adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities (I / DD)
- Assisting in restructuring environments and activities to support the clients' behaviors
- Teaching skills that allow the individual to communicate and / or function more effectively
- Review behavior plans and other instructional materials developed by behavior analysts
- Facilitate consistent implementation of the behavior plan, and monitor outcomes
- Implementing behavioral procedures for acquisition of replacement skills and reduction of problematic behaviors
- Data collection as prescribed by a recipient's behavior analysis service plan
- Communicate openly with behavior analysts and regional coordinator
- Complete daily progress notes related to implementation of the intervention plan
- Flexible schedule ' Average of about 20-30 hours a week depending on candidate availability, willingness to work hours and weekends
- Successful applicants must pass a background check
- Employees must have reliable transportation. While a driver's license, insurance, and personal vehicle are preferred (travel time is paid), public transportation is considered reliable transportation
