Required:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership or management position in an early childhood education or childcare setting

Summary:
The Child Care Center Director will oversee daily operations, ensuring that all children receive high-quality care in a safe, loving, & educational environment. The Director will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with church leadership, the board, families, & coworkers to create a cohesive & collaborative atmosphere. This individual will provide leadership, guidance, & mentorship to the staff while ensuring compliance with Oregon licensing requirements, the Oregon Registry Online (ORO) standards, & the mission of the church.
Duties Include:
Leadership & Management-
* Provide effective leadership to the staff, including hiring, training, mentoring, & supporting professional development
* Foster a positive, team-oriented environment & ensure that the childcare program runs smoothly, efficiently, & in compliance with all regulations
Program Development & Quality Assurance-
* Develop, implement, & evaluate age-appropriate curricula & activities that promote the physical, emotional, intellectual, & spiritual growth of children
* Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with licensing regulations & quality standards
Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Oversight-
* Oversee the budget for the childcare center, ensuring resources are utilized appropriately & efficiently
* Develop & manage financial forecasts for the center, assessing both short- & long-term financial needs
* Ensure the center operates within budgetary constraints while maintaining quality standards
* Monitor financial performance, prepare reports, & recommend adjustments as necessary
Compliance & Licensing-
* Ensure the center remains in full compliance with all state regulations, including maintaining an Oregon Step 9 status through ORO
* Handling licensing paperwork, inspections, & compliance reports as required by the state of Oregon
Spiritual Leadership-
* Incorporate Christian values into daily activities
* Build strong relationships with families
* Collaborate with church staff & leadership to ensure the mission & vision of the Church are reflected in the Center's operations
