The eNavigator leads our 'ground game', acting as a trusted guide for the entrepreneurial & small business community & helping them to navigate local & external small business resources & trainings. Employs active listening & networking skills to assists entrepreneurs in finding their own best answers & supporting the local resource providers w/needs assessment information to improve the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Klamath County. It is expected that the eNavigator will work 10-20 hours per week, w/additional hours as business needs require.
* Conduct entrepreneur visitations, using existing methodology, in collaboration w/the eNavigator Team
* Maintain orderly & accurate records of entrepreneur visitations, compiling data & needs assessment information to assist the eLeadership Team in guiding the initiative
* Evaluate best practices in ecosystem building & entrepreneurial development shared through partner learning opportunities & execute as necessary
* Share best practices & non-proprietary materials w/partner cohorts in other communities
* Develop & maintain trusting relationships w/local entrepreneurs & small business owners
* Prepare regular reports related to the ground game activity & make written and/or verbal reports & recommendations
* Develop & maintain a thorough knowledge of the entrepreneurial resources offered at the local, regional, & state-wide level to ensure effective referrals
* In coordination w/team members, maintain the integrity of the data entered into SourceLink Pro, Site Connex, & the Resource Navigator
* Develop & maintain effective relationships w/external small business & entrepreneurial resources
* Refer clients to small business resources & training as appropriate
* Assist w/maintaining the content on website
* Recruit entrepreneurs for networking events
* In coordination w/the Director, coordinate/execute networking & other events
* Capture & document success stories & success metrics
* Develop & sustain trusting relationships w/eLeadership Team members, eResource Partners, community coordinators, champions & stakeholders
* Maintain confidentiality of client information, sharing information only as appropriate & authorized by the client
* Adhere to policies, including but not limited to those related to confidentiality, conflict of interest, code of ethics, & discrimination/harassment
* Travel within Klamath County to support entrepreneurs
* Occasionally travel outside of Klamath County for meetings and/or professional development opportunities
* Attend staff meetings as requested
* Collaborate effectively w/a variety of stakeholders, staff & public from diverse cultural, social, economic & educational backgrounds
* Demonstrate a commitment to equity & inclusivity in all aspects of carrying out our work
* Demonstrate regular & reliable attendance
* Perform related duties as required
