What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hay Crop Pest Control Laborer position at Worksource Oregon?
*** Hiring Event at WorkSource Klamath, 801 Oak Ave. Come meet the employer March 3 from 10am-Noon ***
Requirements:
* Minimum 18 years of age
* Willing to do Extensive walking (as much as 10-16 miles per day)
* Willing to work outside in all kinds of weather
Job Duties:
* Hand application of pre-bait and then a second application of bait and pesticide to control population of ground squirrels
* Company will provide Oregon Department of Agricultural training certification course. You will need to pass the Pesticide Applicator test
* Job is very physically demanding
Employer States:
* Transportation to the work site, from a central meeting site, will be provided by the employer
* Day travel to California
* This position will be working continuous days in a row until job is completed weather permitting (have worked as many as 12 days in a row in the past)
Temp position, around 6 weeks or so.
Job should start around March 15th.
