Required:
* Operate a motor vehicle, maintain a current Oregon driver's license and an acceptable driving record
* Basic computer and keyboard skills
* Knowledge of landlord-tenant law
* Knowledge of Fair Housing
* Reasonable knowledge of the community and social and economic resources available to low-income and elderly individuals
* Form and maintain effective relationships with low-income families, to analyze and interpret a family's housing situation
* Clearly and concisely express self orally and in in writing
* Maintain professional attitude and respect the confidentiality of sensitive information
* Remian calm, objective and understanding under angry and/or verbally abusive, hostile situations
* Work independently and apply creativity to make decisions
* Maintain discretion
Summary:
Under supervision of the Executive Director, has responsibility for all company owned/managed properties.
Duties Include:
* Comply with all approved policies and procedures, federal regulations and state statues as they relate to programs
* Keep required program certifications current
* Update policies as needed
* Perform Move-in and Move-out inspections
* Complete Statements of Deposit Accounts per schedule
* Establish and maintain accurate records of properties
* Work with Finance Manager to balance monthly DSO's
* Review and update utility charts yearly
* Perform regular site visits
* Ensure properties are in good repair
* Maintain vacancy rate at 2%, or less (in conjunction with the occupancy team)
* Coordinate evictions, posting notices, filing FED's
* Serve as tenet contact for any property issues
* Serves as liaison between company and general public, maintaining contacts personally, by email, or by telephone
* Provide backup and support to coworkers
* Establish and maintain professional and effective working relationships with customers, coworkers and other agencies
* Maintain punctual and regular attendance
* Keep workspace, materials and common areas neat, clean and organized
* Perform other duties as assigned
