What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Route Delivery Driver position at WorkSource Oregon?
Premier local bottled water and coffee delivery service has an immediate need for the right person to join our team. DUTIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
- Safely drive a light truck to and around the Portland area 2-3 days per week, making 25-30 deliveries of water, coffee, equipment and other products per day, to new/existing customers.
- Distribute and maintain proper selection and inventory of products for each customer. Record and maintain sales, inventories and delivery information. Complete order intake.
- Ensure freshness of products on shelf is up to company standard.
- Educate and offer our customers additional products for purchase.
- Collect payments from customers.
- Safely unload/lift water bottles that weigh up to 50 lbs. onto a hand truck. Some locations require hand carrying of bottles.
- Load and maintain truck inventory.
- Responsible for maintaining coffee equipment en route.
- Maintain a clean truck and ensure that routine maintenance is performed.
- As needed, participate in trade shows and special events to promote the company's products and services.
- Other duties as needed.

- frequently lift up to 50 pounds with each arm. Water bottles are pulled from racks and placed on a hand truck.
- occasionally push or pull up to 100 pounds using a rolling pallet o similar equipment, often up or down a slight incline or ramp.
REQUIREMENTS - General
- At least 21 years of age
- Possess a current Oregon Driver license or if from another state, obtain an Oregon driver license within first 30 days from date of hire.
- Employer will conduct a Federal background check and a DMV records check
REQUIREMENTS - Education and Experience
- High School diploma OR General Education Degree (GED)
- One year of relevant customer sales and service experience; route sales and cold-calling experience or a combination of education and experience that meets the minimum qualifications.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
HOURS and PAY
40 hours per week, worked in 4 ten-hour days; Monday -Thursday or Tuesday - Friday
$21.00 - $22.00, depending on experience and qualifications
