*** Pruning Season usually lasts from December through April 1st. This year we will may be pruning until May 1st or as needed depending on the season.***
Minimum Requirements:
- Eighteen (18) years of age or older
- Three (3) months or experience as a pruning tower operator
Preferred (Not Required):
- One (1) year of orchard equipment operating experience
Job Duties:
- Operate a twenty (20) foot tall pruning tower in an established hazelnut orchard
- Operate a hydraulic chain saw and clippers
- Lift up to forty (40) pounds of debris and equipment when necessary
Employer Notes:
- Minimum wage is guaranteed
- This employer will provide necessary tools / supplies at no charge; however, applicant with need to provide own gloves, boots and rain gear
- This type of work will be performed in all weather conditions and is a physically demanding position
- Bus route is about a mile and a half away from worksite
- Two dogs onsite occasionally
- Will be working on a lift where they will be elevated in the air up to 20 feet
Hours:
- Work up to fifty-five (55) hours per week if applicant is willing to work longer hours, but they are not expected or required to work longer hours. There is flexibility to the schedule and please discuss with the employer in more detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

- Monday to Friday
