A local employer is seeking qualified applicants to fill an Resident Care Manager. This is an opportunity to help people who have been homeless get back on their feet. Adult Foster Home supports residents so they can get back on their feet.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years old
- At least 3 yrs experience and training in caring for persons with severe and persistent mental illness
- Live in the Adult Foster House unless there's an approved resident manager
- Current CPR and First Aid certification from recognized organizations like the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross before first day of employment.
Preferred (Not Required)
- Valid Oregon Driver's License
- Mental health knowledge or Nurse, Peer support specialist
Job Duties:
- Make meals
- Conduct light house keeping
- Documentation of daily residential activities
- Medication administration
- Communication with Medical providers to coordinate care
- General duties to maintain household
- Supporting residents to become self-sufficient
- Be capable of responding to emergencies appropriately
Employer Notes:
- Pass a Physical and Mental health exam by a certified health care provider and Drug Testing
- Pass a background check and report any disqualifying conditions promptly
- Be proficient in English for effective communication with clients and partners
- Complete a course in Mandatory Reporting for community mental health programs
- Complete 12 hours CEUs yearly, Narcan overdose training, Marion County Mental Health examinations (8), and stay current on all expiring training

Wages, Hours and Benefits
- 130.00 $ per Day, Depending on Experience, Negotiable, Depending on Qualifications
- 5 days on and 2 days off
