We are looking for a detail-oriented Engineer to design equipment and processes to increase the throughput and efficiency of our production lines. The candidate will be in our Ozark, MO location, and work with the team here to design, fabricate and test solutions before implementing them into the production process. The ideal candidate will visit the facility only marginally throughout the year to plan next steps and identify shortfalls.
Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities:
● Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
● Determining problem resolutions and implementing improvements.
● Identify value add processes and develop upgraded work cells.
● Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods.
● Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services.
● Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians.
● Developing detailed layouts for equipment, processes, and workflow.
● Ensuring manufacturing processes, equipment, and products comply with safety standards.
● Provides product development support in Design for Manufacturing discussions.
● Evaluate quality control processes and make recommendations for improvements in quality control.
● Analyze production processes, schedules, methods and other data and then provide management with reports containing the data and statistics to enable management to better understand future requirements needed for the manufacturing process.
● Review and calculate labor, material and other production costs along with reviewing schedules and future production requirements to assist management in decision making.

What we are looking for:
● Degree in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering required.
● 2 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering preferred.
● Experience evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and machinery.
● Experience using CAD (Solidworks Preferred) and related software (PDM Vault).
● Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
● Strong organization and management skills.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Sharepoint and ERP Software.
● High level of technical expertise.
● Problem-solving skills
● Strong analytical thinker.
