What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bank Teller position at Workway?
We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a Bank Teller opportunity with a Bank in West Hollywood. The bank provides business banking solutions to small businesses and business owners, offering credit and deposit collection services. The workplace features a warm, welcoming staff and a pleasant work environment. Bank Teller is responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include :
- Accepting demand and savings deposits, ensuring that all necessary deposit documents are in proper order and form, and issuing receipts.
- Cashing properly presented negotiable instruments, verifying that the true identity of the payee has been established, and obtaining supervisor approval for instruments that exceed the teller's check-cashing limit.
- Accepting, verifying, and receiving Bank-by-Mail and Night Drop deposits under dual custody.
- Balancing cash daily.
- Assisting customers with problems, responding to inquiries, and / or referring customers to the appropriate branch personnel.
Specific qualifications for the position include :
Pay Rate Range : $20.00 - $22.22 per hour, depending on experience.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
