We have an exciting opportunity for a Contact Center Representative at a credit union renowned for its strong commitment to community impact and employee development. The Contact Center Representative is responsible for the specific duties listed below.

Your specific duties will include :

  • Preparing and processing transaction requests received via telephone, such as withdrawals, transfers, and the opening or closing of secondary share accounts, including checking accounts, holiday accounts, certificates, and more.
  • Responding to member inquiries and requests, such as providing duplicate statements, copies of checks, conducting payment or deposit research, and mailing brochures, forms, or other correspondence as needed.
  • Assisting with general Credit Union information, including details about savings rates, loan rates, Visa accounts, checking accounts, and other services.
  • Providing superior and quality member service through efficient and accurate transaction processing, including DocuSign submissions.
  • Understanding and adhering to all credit union policies, procedures, safety practices, and security measures relevant to your responsibilities. This includes daily use of the Wizard system to maintain a thorough understanding of credit union products, services, policies, and procedures.
  • Setting up and resetting Touch-Tel-24 and Online Banking PIN numbers, as well as assisting members with using these services.
  • Processing requests for check card reorders, stop payments, and similar services, and ensuring these are appropriately filed and forwarded to the relevant department for completion.

Specific qualifications for the position include :

  • At least 1 year of experience in a call centre within a banking or credit union environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • A solid understanding of teller and operations regulations, as well as the Credit Union's products and services. Proficiency in using standard office equipment is also required.
  • Experience with Symitar is a plus.
  • Pay Rate Range : $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

    Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
