We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have an IT Operations Engineer opportunity with a California-chartered, full-service commercial non-member bank. This bank provides deposit and loan products, including commercial real estate, commercial and industrial, and SBA loans, as well as related banking services. The bank's targeted client base includes executives, professionals, and small-to-medium-sized businesses, primarily in the Southern California area.
The IT Operations Engineer is responsible for providing technical assistance to staff. In this role, the primary duties include ensuring the optimal use of hardware and software technologies, enhancing system performance, and securing data. Additionally, the role involves advising on IT equipment upgrades, performing maintenance, supporting banking applications, and collaborating with IT Operations teammates.
Your specific duties will include :
- Responding to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, or electronically.
- Installing software and updating hardware.
- Supporting and maintaining bank hardware, including PCs, printers, scanners, VoIP phones, and other enterprise technology.
- Supporting and maintaining bank software, such as Microsoft Windows and Office, Patching, Client Premier banking software / applications, Client Business Analytics, and other banking / financial platforms.
- Diagnosing and resolving technical hardware and software issues.
- Researching questions using available information resources.
- Providing technical guidance and training to end-users on software, hardware, and network-related issues.
- Logging all helpdesk interactions and collaborating with other IT teams to identify and escalate complex issues requiring specialized technical expertise.
- Maintaining an inventory of various technology-related equipment.
- Managing the day-to-day operations of computer networks.
Specific qualifications for the position include :
Pay Rate Range : $75,000 - $85,000 (salaried position)
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
