- Performing routine member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, transfers, and check cashing.
- Verifying and processing night drop, mail, and ATM deposits under dual control.
- Selling credit union monetary instruments.
- Providing members with necessary forms and receipts for transactions.
- Examining checks for proper endorsements and negotiability.
- Cross-selling credit union products and services.
- Ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations, including BSA/AML/CIP.
- Balancing cash drawer and verifying and securing cash and monetary instruments.
- Responding to member inquiries and directing them to appropriate departments as needed.
- Previous teller or cash-handling experience (preferred).
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using a 10-key calculator and basic typing skills.
- Willingness to learn new tasks and take on additional responsibilities.
