Job Summary:
The PTA will work closely with our physical therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for our patients. This includes assessing patient needs, conducting therapy sessions, and evaluating progress towards functional goals.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patient needs and develop effective treatment plans
- Conduct therapy sessions and provide direct patient care
- Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff
- Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
Requirements:
- Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved program
- At least one year of experience as a physical therapy aide or assistant
- Current license from the state Board of Physical Therapy Examiners
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
