The Role
As the General Manager, you will be instrumental in guiding Life 50 from its initial stages to a flourishing community. This entrepreneurial role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on leadership. Your key responsibilities will center around owning the full P&L and developing a sustainable business model that delivers exceptional member value and strong growth. You will also be responsible for creating and executing a strategic growth plan to expand Life 50’s membership and market presence. A crucial aspect of your role will be to build and lead a high-performing team dedicated to member growth, outstanding service delivery, and the curation of impactful experiences.
You will craft an engaging member experience across in-person events, personalized support, and digital platforms, ensuring Life 50 effectively addresses the evolving needs of accomplished executives. This includes leading the development and delivery of Life 50’s core pillars: Impact, Inspiration, Healthspan, and Wealthspan, creating meaningful value for our members. Furthermore, you will establish and manage the necessary systems, platforms, and partnerships to scale a differentiated and digitally-enhanced member experience, and implement data analysis and feedback mechanisms to continuously improve the member journey and identify new opportunities for development. Ensuring that Life 50 reflects and promotes diversity, equity, and belonging across all aspects of the member experience, collaborating closely with internal World 50 teams, serving as a key ambassador, and measuring progress through clear metrics will also be critical to your success.

Qualifications
- Significant experience in general management, community leadership, program management, hospitality, professional services, or related fields.
- Demonstrated success in scaling premium services or membership-based organizations.
- Experience in building and leading effective teams.
- A strong understanding of—or a demonstrated capacity to learn—the needs of senior executives.
- Solid financial management skills and operational acumen.
- Familiarity with data analysis and digital platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.
