We host semi-annual roundtable meetings (Spring and Fall) to share learnings amongst our members and collectively review the most promising solutions. Through our collaborative model, we have been providing a streamlined innovation process and valuable insights to corporations for more than 10 years. Role Overview
The Sales Director, Membership Development, is responsible for driving new business with sales for Healthcare Innovation Roundtable memberships and contributing to the development of sales strategies. This role reports to the Managing Director of Sales and Partnerships.
Sales Directors are supported by Membership Development Associates (MDAs) who assist in identifying, targeting, and contacting potential executive prospects, as well as managing pipeline activities. Sales Directors will work closely with Group Leaders.
World 50 Innovation Roundtable is a growth-oriented organization focused on providing a collaborative platform for leading employers in the healthcare sector. Success in this role is measured by revenue contribution through new member acquisition and member retention.
What you’ll do:
- Have a deep understanding of evolving business terrains and effectively articulate the World 50 Group value proposition to prospective members
- Be the lead presenter on all first and second calls with prospective members
- Manage the pipeline, outreach strategy, and creative referral processes
- Work closely with Membership Group Leaders to close new members and help to ensure retention of others
- Cultivate and maintain strong member relationships, drive business growth and exceed member expectations.
What we’re looking for:
- Healthcare industry knowledge, especially benefits, providers, and health systems
- Proven C-Suite and VP-level sales record including success in high-volume transactional sales and quota achievement
- Excellent presentation, communication, and writing skills
- A team player who quickly builds credibility with executives and understands business concepts of large corporations
- Outstanding time management and organization skills
- A self-starter who has excellent interpersonal and organizational communication skills
- CRM and tracking software knowledge, including Salesforce.com preferred
- Proven leadership experience and possess a solutions based and service memberships sales approach
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 10 years of transactional sales experience with success closing new business
